1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R SOLD
Sold on April 10, 2005 for $600.
Fun, reliable car. Has 212,000 miles on the body, however the engine was replaced at around 170,000 miles according to the previous owner. All electronics work, including cruise control, power sunroof, and mirrors, but the speedometer does read about 10mph too fast. The interior is in very good shape. The 5spd transmission shifts smoothly and there is no 5th gear pop-out, and there is no door sag either (both common problems on these cars). The CV joints click when turning, so it could use some new half-shafts, and I think there's a worn motor mount that results in some pretty unpleasant sounds when decelerating. The biggest problem with the car is the rust, which is fairly significant in the rockers and doorjambs.
I'm selling it because I've got too many cars, and not enough time or money to work on them all, and not enough space to keep them. I had planned on fixing the rust and upgrading to NX 2000 brakes, but with my CRX being my main project car, it's time to let someone else play with the SE-R.
