so had this pic on my pages, they told me to take it down
because there is someone there that has snake in their screen name and they took it as a threat .

Ive never really messed with the Kitco forums, but all these refugee stories makes me want to go over there and get myself banned, too!

Thats funny

just got a email from kitco saying people complained about my military helicopter AC/DC youtube (below) and since I had it as my signature the same one I have on here they deleted 450 post, plus banned me.

I never ended up getting banned from kitco before coming here. Not sure I am living up to the GIM heritage with that one. No passage of rite for me apparently.

like the badge. keep the badge. I might make my own for when I become a Freeman on the Land. I think that would not only look cool but would get the message across.

Kitco forums, lol. What a circus.

I got a "strike" (3 strikes and your banned I think) because I posted a thread asking about microsoft's cash back on live.com when you use ebay. There's hundreds of posts with live.com in them but they deleted my entire thread, gave me a strike, and told me I am never to say live.com again because its advertising another website. Now, 100's of other people can ask about live.com (about 126 instances of live.com show up in their search). All live.com is, is a search engine. Like google.com or whatever. It's not even a competitor.

Another time, I disagreed with someone who turned out to be a mod. It was all respectful of course, but I made the better argument. Then others started to agree with me. Then the mod deleted my posts. Haha, I kid you not.

Then there was the time someone struck up a conversation through private messaging. They talked about the "other" forum, which I later found out was GoldIsMoney.info. I asked, what is the other forum? The guy wouldn't tell me out of fear I was a mod in disguise and would ban him for saying the name of another gold forum. I thought, wow this is worse than the Gestapo or something. People afraid to even PM something, out of fear they will get banned from a mod in disguise.

Still not banned on kitco yet but, heck handing out strikes over saying live.com...it won't be long. :wink:

Yea, Bond,....I've had an encounter at kitco too.....I got spammed with a west-african diamonds scam Email one time, so I posted it to warn other members, and you know my post was deleted and I got a warning from a mod named cajus, instructing me that I was in violation and that I had to refrain from breaking kitco's rules.....LOL All I was trying to do is help out others.....what a jerk

That Kicto Form is useless, It is set up for nothing more than a place where a few Mods can feel like big some bodies by power tripping. They are no different from the Government Badge wearing thugs on the street, Believe me if them clowns could taser your arse they would.
